How I work:

My experience has fostered an advanced understanding of marketing, branding, media, culture and communications. I prefer a positive, practical, low-drama management style that emphasizes empowerment, quality and effectiveness over hollow cheerleading, appearances, fear or politics.

I'm an exceptional presenter, and outstanding verbal and written communicator. I can get things done on my own, or just as well as a team contributor or leader. I'm highly organized, can comfortably juggle many things at once, and hold up fine in fast-paced situations with tight deadlines. My professional guiding principles include courage, candor, maturity, humor, quality, intelligence and respect.

The personal side:

For reasons my heart knows but I can't describe, Schoolhouse Rock chokes me up. I impersonate Elmer Fudd sometimes, but only because it kills with my wife and four kids. Cynthia Tewes, "Julie McCoy" from TV's The Love Boat, is the most famous person I've worked with. But she didn't at all act "famous."

I've never been in a band (don't even play an instrument), but I keep a database of awesome band names just for fun. Getting lost in the Idaho desert on my motorcycle taught me to never trust my innate navigational sense again. I love animals...with a nice spice rub. My pet peeves include people wearing bedroom slippers in public and too-long paragraphs.
